A majestic Lion created in Lampwork glass. I recently watched a documentary on these impressive creatures.. They are fierce as well as beautiful.
I start with my vision of what I am trying to achieve. Created offhand in the flame. No molds are used. Using fine tools and heat control, I build up and eventually the glass becomes a piece of wearable art.
This Lion will arrive on a 20” antique copper rolo chain.
Focal measures 1 1/2” across and length wise.
